The Rules of Connect4x4

Object of the Game

On an 8x8 board, two players alternate inserting their pieces from the edges of the board, across a row or up/down a column, attempting to form four in a row.

Movement Rules

On your turn, you position a piece of your colour next to any edge whose nearest spot is free. The piece will travel up/down/left/right as appropriate for that position and stop either at the opposite edge or when it is blocked by another piece.
