KING - A King may:
Move to an (orthogonal or diagonal)
empty cell |
Capture a neutral stone by
replacement |
A King is obliged to move out of
check whenever necessary, except to counter the adversary last
move (check below) |
SOLDIER
- A soldier may:
Move to an orthogonal empty
cell |
Capture the enemy King by
replacement |
Capture a neutral stone by custodian
(orthogonal or diagonal) with some friendly piece (including its
King) |
NEUTRAL STONE - A neutral stone
may:
Move to an diagonal adjacent empty
cell |
Move orthogonally if it starts or
goes onto a corner cell |
Capture Kings within moving
range |
MOVE
- On each turn, each player must move one of his pieces or
a neutral stone |
GOAL
- A player wins by achieving one of the following ways:
Capture the enemy
King |
Make an (orthogonal or diagonal) 4
in-a-row with his soldiers |
Move his King into the enemy King
starting cell |
Move his soldiers into the 4 corner
cells |
Capture both neutral
stones |
Stalemate the
adversary |
Counter - The first three
ways may be countered; that is, if the opponent succeeds in doing
one of these, and the player could do the same thing on his next
turn, in doing so he would nullify the winning move, and that
method of winning cannot be used anymore (until the next game). A
draw occurs either by all of the ways of winning being nullified,
or by mutual agreement of both players |
