This game is played on a 10x10 square board.
- ENTER CELLS - Each player has four enter cells (the dotted cells in the diagram) at their first row.
- TURN - On each turn, each player must do one of the following things:
- Insert a friendly stack of size 1 on his enter cells (each player can only insert 10 stacks during the game).
- Move a friendly stack to a diagonally adjacent empty cell.
- Jump over a stack (of either color) diagonally adjacent landing on the immediate empty cell. Jumps can be multiple and do not capture stacks.
- Insert or remove one stone from a friendly stack (to a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 6)
- Capture by replacement a diagonally adjacent enemy stack, provided that:
- the captured stack have less stones. Then the capturing stack will subtract that number from its size (e.g., a stack of size 5 capturing a stack of size 2, becomes a stack of size 3); or
- both stacks have the same size. In this case, the capturing stack becomes a stack of size 1.
- GOAL - Wins the player that moves a stack to an enemy enter cell.
An example The white stack of size 1 can jump over the other two stacks, first jumping to [1] then to [2].
If it was Black's turn, the black stack can capture the adjacent white stack by moving there. After the capture, the black stack would have size 3 (4 minus 1)
The original game can be played up to 4 players. There is also some variants with more complex winning conditions. Check those, are more, at this website (in French).
